Cayman Distributors Group is the market-leading importer, distributor, retailer and manufacturer in the Cayman Islands. We have an opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Financial Controller to join our team.

Financial Controller

The Financial Controller is responsible for day-to-day management of the Finance team. Reporting to the CEO and being part of and working with the executive team, the Financial Controller is responsible for providing timely and accurate reporting for decision making at all levels of the company.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensuring accuracy of financial records
• Preparing appropriate financial reports for the business leaders
• Developing and enforcing controls and procedures
• Managing the ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics GP
• Supporting budget and forecasting activities for various departments
• Managing personnel within the Finance team

The successful candidate must have all of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related subject
• Professional Accounting designation
• Minimum 10 years’ post qualification experience
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience
• IT skills must include advanced Microsoft Excel and significant experience in working in ERP systems. Power BI experience would be a significant advantage, as would experience in ERP system change and change management.
• Excellent organisational skills
• The ability to work with tight deadlines.

Benefits:

Salary is in the range of CI$90,000 - $125,000 per annum (commensurate with experience) with additional performance-related bonuses. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including contributory pension and health insurance.
