The Assistant Team Leader will support the efforts of the Team Leader to achieve sales targets, manage sales team and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure customer service excellence by providing guidance to the Sales Professionals in their selling efforts, acting as a closer when needed.
- Assist the Team Leader in planning and implementing strategy to attract customers by coordinating in-store sales, product promotions and incentive activities.
- Contribute towards store sales targets by monitoring individual and team sales performance on a daily/ weekly/monthly basis, Support efforts through ongoing coaching.
- Coordinate retail store operations which involve planning and preparing work schedules, participate in team meetings, maximising visual displays, ensuring inventory control measures are upheld.
- Ensure that all store opening and closing procedures are completed accurately, according to the documented standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum three (3) years of retail sales experience
- Minimum two (2) years retail management experience preferred
- Previous commission-based sales experience with proven sales target success
- High level of proficiency in MS Office
- Must be available to work late shifts, weekends, public holidays
- Must be comfortable speaking with the public
- High level of attention to detail is essential
Remuneration includes base salary plus commission
