We are accepting applications for the following position: 

ASSISTANT COOK

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

•  Ensure kitchen equipment and appliances are ready for use.
•  Assist the line cooks/ CDP by preparing mise en place for the team.
•  Promptly on time and in clean uniform for service
•  Assisting other chefs with daily duties as necessary
•  Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
•  Gather food ingredients from the refrigerator or freezer as required by the Chef.
•  Takes Daily Inventory of all production items and records and tallies what has been depleted and produced to help fulfil the daily requisition.
•   Ensure food is stored away properly when not in use.
•   Has fully comprehension of the menu and is trained on the preparation of all ingredients.
•  Always maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by sanitizing surfaces and disposal of trash when needed.
•  Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
• Time management and has ability to execute recipes promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•  Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
•  Highschool diploma or equivalent

Hourly Range: US$8.00-US$10.00 per hour + gratuities
