F&B SERVER 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Delivers exceptional service consistently
• Mandatory requirement: Proven knowledge and hands-on experience with fine dining service standards as applied at Tillies and Yashinoki
• Proven understanding of international service standards for casual dining concepts
• Greets each guest promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact, a smile and good posture
• Recognizes regular guests and greets them by name
• Offers guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience conforming to guidelines of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness
• Serves and clears food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner
• Familiar with the menu, including preparation, ingredients and description
• Familiar with the wine list and wine and beverage service including stemware used
• Completes opening and closing side work as assigned and has all tables set according to standard
• Provides confident and educated advice on menu options as well as food and beverage pairings, including specials for the day
• Serves any dishes to guests while explaining the contents and preparation
• Presets tables with appropriate items for each course when necessary
• Follows the established procedures to ensure knowledgeable, correct and efficient order taking
• Carries trays with all food and beverage items
• Resets tables quickly and efficiently
• Ascertains a guest’s satisfaction and handles any problem which may arise by informing a manager of the problem and how it was resolved
• Recognizes and addresses potential intoxicated, disruptive or undesirable guests
• Conducts self in a professional manner at all times to reflect the international hotel standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Strong menu/wine/beverage knowledge with pairing expertise.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to carry trays, stand for extended periods, and navigate outdoor/indoor spaces.

Hourly Range:  US$8.00-US$9.00 per hour + gratuities
