We are accepting applications for the following position: 

KITCHEN STEWARD

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, such as ovens, stoves, grills, and fryers.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks, like peeling, chopping, and cutting ingredients.
• Dispose of kitchen waste and ensuring garbage and recycling areas are clean and orderly.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, countertops, and floors.
• Restock kitchen supplies, such as cleaning products, dishwashing detergents, and paper towels.
• Maintain the organization of the kitchen, storage areas, and dishwashing area.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• All other duties required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience helping in kitchen settings.
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• The ability to safely use kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
• Must be able to work shifts including weekend and public holiday
• Assist in unloading food supplies from delivery trucks.
• Be able to lift and move boxes and store them accordingly.

Hourly Range: US$8.00-US$9.00 per hour + gratuities
