We are accepting applications for the following position: 

NIGHT CLEANER

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Perform deep cleaning of all public areas, back-of-house spaces (including assisting with kitchen stewarding), pool deck, beach access points, restaurant interiors/exteriors, and public restrooms.
• Clean, stock, and supply designated areas through tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, high-dusting ceiling vents, restroom sanitization, and polishing sur-faces to resort standards.
• Organize all chemicals and cleaning supplies in designated storage areas, ensuring prop-er labeling, safety compliance, and rotation to prevent waste.
• Maintain accurate inventory for public areas, including towels, fitness center head-phones, pool loungers, beach amenities, and restroom supplies; conduct nightly counts and report shortages.
• Perform and document routine inspections and maintenance activities, such as checking lighting, furniture stability, and fixture functionality, escalating issues to the head of department.
• Support overnight setup for next-day operations, including resetting restaurant tables and preparing event spaces discreetly.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sustainability protocols, including proper use of PPE, waste segregation, and eco-friendly cleaning practices aligned with Cayman Islands regulations.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to address urgent safety needs, maintaining guest privacy during all activities.
• Perform all duties in accordance with Palm Heights standards, with an emphasis on meeting or exceeding guest expectations through spotless environments and proactive service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and public holidays; flexibility for shift coverage essential.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50lbs, bending, and work-ing in outdoor tropical conditions.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in hospitality preferred, knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills
• Ability to walk throughout the work shift to accomplish tasks

Hourly Range: US$8.00-US$9.00 per hour + gratuities
