We are accepting applications for the following position:

FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVER

The Food & Beverage Server will be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences including taking and delivering orders.

RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE:

• Welcome guests and promptly attend to table
• Serve food and beverages to guests, making recommendations if needed
• Share menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
• Record transactions in the POS system correctly and in a timely manner
• Check-in with guests to assure satisfaction with each course and beverage
• Clean tables, complete closing duties and re-stock tableware and other supplies
• Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
• Issue checks and accept payment
• Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages
• Provides excellent customer service to all guests

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a high-volume restaurant is essential
• Possess a comprehensive background and knowledge of food & beverage
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well in environment with time constraints
• Ability to troubleshoot effectively
• Beverage and wine knowledge required
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, performing work accurately and efficiently
• Strong communication skills; able to carry natural conversation with guests
• Must maintain a professional image
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs; sit, stand, walk for an extended period of time
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including working outside of normal business hours (i.e. early morning shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays, as needed)
• Be able to work inside and outside under various weather conditions

Salary: CI$6.56 -CI$8.50 (paid bi-weekly) per hour plus gratuities
