We are now accepting application for the following position:
PREP COOK
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Serve food and beverages to guests
• Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special
requests
• Answer guests' questions about ingredients and menu items
• Check-in with guests to assure satisfaction with each course
• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and
accurately
• Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the
House staff
• Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and
special requests (e.g. food allergies)
• Assist the wait staff with table setting by collecting and placing
appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins
• Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. correct
temperature)
• Remove dirty dishes and utensils
• Clean restaurant, complete closing duties and re-stock tableware and
other supplies
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests
• Perform other related duties as may be required from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum two (2) years' experience in a high-volume restaurant is
essential as a Food & Beverage Runner
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well in environment with time
constraints
• Ability to troubleshoot effectively
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, performing work
accurately and efficiently
• Must maintain a professional image
• Ability to lift up to 25Ibs; sit, stand, walk for an extended period of time
• Must be comfortable working a flexible schedule including working
outside of normal business hours (i.e. evenings, weekends and public
holidays, as needed)
• Be able to work inside and outside under various weather conditions
Salary: KYD$6.56 - KYD$11.00 Per Hour + gratuities
Benefits: In accordance with Cayman Islands law
