We are now accepting applications for the following position:

GARDENER


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for maintaining hotel grounds and aesthetic appearance of the entire property, including the beach.

• Conduct daily inspections of exterior grounds and surrounding building areas to identify debris, damage, or maintenance needs, ensuring flower beds, green spaces, and walkways are well kept at all times.

• Ensure that all flower beds are clean and perform masonry repairs.

• Perform chemical testing for treating plants and lawns, filter changing, and routine maintenance of the indoor and outdoor fountains.

• Maintain all interior/exterior plants, flowers and shrubs as needed and replace burned out lights.

• Assist with the movement and repositioning of furniture, landscaping elements, or equipment across hotel venues in support of events or operational needs.

• Support associated grounds related maintenance functions and collaborate with the broader engineering and operations teams as needed.

• Carry out additional duties related to grounds and property upkeep as assigned by the leadership team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent

• Ability to safely handle landscaping tools, chemicals, and equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS/ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• May be exposed to a noisy, humid and hot environment. Temperatures will vary depending on weather

• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling or otherwise move objects.

• Frequently lift 25lbs, occasionally lift 50lbs

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Ability to walk throughout work shift to accomplish tasks

Hourly Wage: USD$8.00 - USD$14.00 Per Hour + gratuities

Benefits: In accordance with Cayman Islands law
