ROOM ATTENDANT

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• While cleaning guest rooms, ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Removes dirty towels and sheets from the guest room and replaces them with clean ones from the linen closet.
• Cleans, dusts and sanitizes all areas of the guest room.
• Makes bed and cleans tile area in guest room.
• Removes room service trays, dishes, carts to service area landings.
• Use chemicals, cleaners and cleaning equipment properly.
• Keeps all guest corridors neat, vacuumed, and dusted.
• Makes sure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevator landing, stairwells, and linen storage rooms are clean.
• Removes all trash from areas.
• Sorts linen for washing.
• Moves racks of clean linen to guest room floors.
• Stocks linen storage room. Sorts clean linen.
• Deep cleans floors of lobby, elevators, public areas, guest rooms, locker rooms, guest corridors, offices, event space, spa and fitness club and other service areas. • Ensure housekeeping closets on each floor are fully stocked.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Stand and walk throughout the shift for up to eight working hours.
• Frequently carry and lift up to 50lbs daily.
• Kneel, push, pull, and lift items throughout the shift.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including working outside of normal business hours (i.e. evenings, weekends and public holidays, as needed).
• May be exposed to a noisy, humid, and hot environment. Temperatures will vary depending on the weather.

Salary: USD$8.00 - USD$10.00 per Hour + gratuities
