CHIEF STEWARD

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Lead and supervise the Stewarding team across all kitchens, restaurants, bars, and event spaces.
• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene throughout all food preparation and service areas.
• Manage dishwashing operations, kitchen cleaning schedules, waste management, and deep-cleaning programs.
• Oversee inventory, storage, maintenance, and replacement of china, glassware, silverware, kitchen equipment, and operating supplies.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop stewarding team members.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
• Coordinate with Culinary and Food & Beverage leadership to support daily operations, banquets, special events, and activations.
• Manage staffing schedules, payroll administration, and labor controls.
• Monitor stewarding expenses and operating supplies to support cost-control objectives.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently maintained.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure proper handling of chemicals, equipment, and cleaning materials.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years of stewarding leadership experience within a luxury hotel, resort, or high-volume food and beverage operation.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Experience managing large stewarding teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage labor costs, inventory, and operational budgets.
• Proficiency in scheduling and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and special events.

Salary: USD$60,000.00 - USD$70,000.00 per annum
